Greetings Soft Landing!

We can’t wait to gather again this fall to share our love, dusty hugs, and tea! For those of you already committed to this year’s Burn: we have a very TIME-SENSITIVE opportunity for you to get a ticket now! See below and respond ASAP if you are interested.   
 

Stewards Sale Tickets:  ASAP!

Time-sensitive: *BY Thursday, February 26 -- this coming Thursday -- camp needs to fill Stewards Sale slots.  If you are interested and committed to contributing to Soft Landing this year, please email Roo at  roo@gluelogic.com with this information: 

  • Name/Playa name

  • Burner Profile email address 

  • Number of ticket requested*

  • Number of vehicle passes needed

*If you need only one ticket, please ask for only one ticket.

Opportunities to Lead and Serve

Here is a link to our Leadership Team Meeting notes from last week.  We will continue to host Leadership Team meetings biweekly, likely on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.  

A significant portion of our conversation centered around ways to build our community around service, creativity, and partnership.  We are always looking for folks to participate in bringing Soft Landing alive each year!  
Contribution Opportunities:

  • Build Apprentices:  Looking for Build Lead apprentices and co-leads!

  • Strike Lead:  A gift to camp and to playa

  • Technology Team:  Supporting the Comms team and find new ways for shift sign-ups

  • Documentation:  Seeking support from everyone to capture our best practices, tips, tricks, and guidance.  See the notes for more details. 

  • Welcoming Committee:  Ensure our new campers have what they need

  • Ratchet Strap Experts:  We all could practice a little ratcheting!

  • Apply to join camp: Applications for new campers are open! Remember that all new campers must be sponsored by an existing camper. Please direct them to apply here. Make sure any new camper reads camp orientation guidelines here.

  • Intent to Camp / Space Reservation form:  tbd

  • Dues and Shift Sign-Up: tbd

  • Pod Leaders:  

    • Initial layouts/space requests due June 15

    • Final layouts/space requests due July 15 (firm!)
