Soft Landing is a collaborative, community-based art project and Burning Man camp with international membership based in the Bay Area, California and Colorado. In Black Rock City, we host a thoughtful speaker series and a unique 24-hour teahouse: creating a comfortable refuge for tea, connection, and visionary conversation amid the mayhem of the playa. As a community, we value cooperation, transparency, creativity, and radical self-reliance.

  • Acculturation dates will be the weeks of August 10th and 17th, Tuesdays. More details in the newsletters.

  • New campers:

    • Fill out the New Camper form. This also signs you up for our newsletter, where we send out important deadlines and dates.

  • Returning campers:

    • RV, Camper, and Trailer Registration is CLOSED. If you haven’t registered your RV or camper, we aren’t accounting for you! Reach out to Roo to see what may (or may not!) be possible.

    • Shift sign ups: pay attention to our newsletters so you don’t miss anything. (You should already be on our mailing list. If not, reach out to comms@campsoftlanding.co)
