Greetings Soft Landing!

Are you Excited? Nervous? Anxious? No matter what, you are coming home and have nothing to worry about! We cannot wait to see you all and reconnect, have fun, heal, and explore new adventures! Soft Landing’s family reunions are the best!

By now, you should have done all the things:  

• paid dues 

• signed up for shifts 

• attended an acculturation meeting

  • We have a final opportunity on August 16th at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific).

Arrival Instructions

As you come to Playa, please be vigilant with speed limits and darkwads that are in the city.  It will be dusty and hard to see when you arrive!  As you approach camp (on E Street, in the middle of 6:30 and 7:00), there are a few important items to help you with your arrival.

1. The front of the camp is on E Street. 

2. When you arrive:

   1. Please park in one the GREEN area in the image below (in front of the Tea House and Palenque Norte Tent).  DO NOT park in the street or in the fire lanes!

   2. Check in to the Tea House.  The Tea House will find the Camp Mayor - Nectar, who will give you a big dusty hug and check you in/place you in your camping spot.

3. If you arrive after 10:00 PM, please park in the GREEN area and relax in the Tea House or the Palenque Norte Tent until the morning when the Camp Mayor has had some coffee/breakfast and they will welcome you and place you.

4. IMPORTANT - Do not drive through camp.  Build Crew will have stuff laying around and we don’t want to damage your vehicle.  If you do damage your vehicle, we will support you, but plan on staying for a day of Strike Crew.

5. Camp Mayor will confirm dues paid, shift sign-ups, so if you haven’t done either, please do that now.  Please remember the Radical Self Reliance principle.  We don’t recommend challenging the All Knowing Clipboard of Truth!
