SHIFTS and DUES!

It takes all of us working together to bring Soft Landing to life.  Don’t forget to sign up for shifts and pay your dues!

Water and Gray Water Service Opportunity(!!!)

This year, we will be offering limited water filling service *and* gray water disposal service. Check out this link for details, and pay attention to the waitlist deadline of August 1st

Attn: Burners from the Bay Area

Are you from the Bay Area and looking for ways to get your stuff out to the Burn? Jae Starfox is coordinating the teahouse gear truck and can transport your gear from Oakland/SF to the burn and back. Bringing people's personal gear and such lets us get a bigger truck that's less expensive per cubic foot.  Just fill out this form and we'll go places together!

Harm Reduction Volunteers Wanted

haven Harm Reductionis a collaborative effort with the Zendo Project and Black Rock Rangers to support participants through peer-based emotional care. If you’re passionate about harm reduction and being of service, we’d love to have you. You can read more about this opportunity here, and you can apply through the Volunteer Questionnaire on the Burning Man website (Choose haven Harm Reduction).

Love Kitchen and Supper Club

Hello from Love Kitchen! We are looking forward to seeing all of your beautiful faces at the burn this year!

Love Kitchen: Just like the heart of a home, the Love Kitchen is intended to be a warm place for all Soft Landers to come together, share a story, and cook yummy food! The kitchen is fully stocked with your basic food prep, cooking, and cleanup supplies! Anyone who plans to use the kitchen should follow thislink for general infoon how to properly make use of this shared space. Also, we’re looking for volunteers to help make the kitchen run smoothly throughout the event (this helps earn credit towards your camp dues!). If you’re interested in volunteering, follow thislink. You DO NOT have to be a Love Kitchen pod member to volunteer in the Love Kitchen itself.

Supper Club: If you are new to Soft Landing, you may be wondering if the camp offers a meal plan, as some other camps do. We don’t. Instead, the Love Kitchen facilitates a voluntary, self-organizing alternative known as Supper Club. To learn more about this amazing opportunity to share meals with your fellow campmates, pleasereview details here. You can also reach out to the Love Kitchen team atletsspoon@campsoftlanding.coif you have any questions, special needs or suggestions.

Can’t wait to see you all at home in the dust!
